Mirena IUCD

 The Mirena IUD has been advertised as a hassle free method of birth control. Mirena is described as an estrogen free intrauterine contraceptive that delivers small amounts of hormone directly to the uterus. It is also said to be safe to keep for up to 5 years. But what the makers of Mirena don't tell you is the alarming number of side effects that this device can cause.

 The Mirena website lists side effects such as Menstrual changes, Lower abdominal pain (cramps), Acne or other skin problems, Back pain, Breast tenderness, Headache, Mood changes, Nausea, Ovarian cysts have been diagnosed in about 12% of Mirena users. In most cases, the enlarged follicles disappeared spontaneously during two to three months of observation.

cerviqem pessaries. Cervical dilatation in early pregnancy 1 pessary 3 hr before surgery. Therapeutic termination of 2nd trimester pregnancy 1 pessary 3 hrly. Max of 5 administrations. If abortion is not established, a 2nd course of treatment may be instituted after 24 hr. Gemeprost ; Belongs to the class of prostaglandins. Used to induce abortion or augment labour and to minimize blood loss from the placental site.
